I came for 3 days business trip with my family. My family really enjoyed staying at Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam, nice, relax and strategic location
On 1st day (midnight) I was shock all room lights & tv went off suddenly, after I remove keycard and insert again the light back again, and this happen every 10-15mins I do make a complaint at frontdesk about off and on power disruption at my room and I believe due to keycard, complaint was not attended

Breakfast is varieties. Staffs at the restaurant are efficient and friendly.
During the check in, the front desk staff looks moody. Wish she could smile more and be proactive.

No alcoholic drinks in the hotel. Shah Alam seems to be a very dull city.

The front office officers were so friendly, helpful and kind. The room quite spacious. The bed sheet and towels were clean. Beautiful view of the Blue Mosque from our room.
The breakfast is so-so and could be improved, in variety of the food and the way it served (don't let several dishes plates empty for quite a long time during the breakfast hours)

The hotel was ok, the staff are good.
I was there because of business trip. I had to do some work in the hotel and I had to do it in the hotel restaurant and cafe. The business centre they had is more like internet cafe with aircon. The internet connection was ok despite now it is should be common that hotel provides internet connection for free.

the room is fairly big and the bed is comfy. The pizza served by the room service was great.. location of the hotel
Front desk staff has attitude problem and does not even greet or smile. The room carpet is old and dirty with stain all over. The furniture is old and worn out and the sofa is torn like a old piece of rag.. 5 star Hotel??? i don't think so...

the view of the masjid (mosque) and town from my room.
Only a 3 star given for this 5-star rank hotel. Swimming pool too cold very uncomfortable to swim, no safety guards, and not child-friendly.

Very close to the Shah Alam Lake, markets and antiques and the state library and the Blue Mosque, the earliest of the Sun Way Laqon from Kuala Lumpur.

this is my 2nd trip to this hotel, we've been upgraded to a suite room facing the blue mosque and its spacious compare to previous room. im enjoyed my stay here.
the menu selections for breakfast, im actually expecting more on my 2nd trip towards this hotel but it seems not even 1 single menu changes. i've stayed in 5 star hotel before and even 4 star hotel don't serves their breakfast in such menus, and sometimes the restaurant cant even accommodate for larger group and for additional their business center doesn't work appropriately..one of the Indian receptionist mentioned that 'nobody to assist' to me at that time, i wonder whats her responsibility standing 8hours straight there... and who else i can refer to if not the front office... ;)
